ITINERARY:

Day-1 Arrive at Jammu. Arrival at Jammu airport/ Railway station. Transfer to hotel at Katra. After freshening up, proceed for Maa Vaishno Devi Darshan (12 km Uphills). Also make a darshan at Baba Bhaironnath temple (6 km further uphills from Vaishnodevi temple). Return to hotel.

(If guests could not return to hotel, because of time constraint/ long queues, they have to make their own arrangements enroute for night stay)

Day-2 Katra Full day at leisure for rest (OR Time Permitting: You can also visit Shivkhori (70 km/ 2.5 hrs from Katra)- the holy cave adobe of Lord Shiva). O/n at hotel in Katra.

(Note: Shivkhori Closes at 7pm in summer. It also has a trek of 4 kms. so plan ur trip accordingly)

Day-3 Katra- Pahalgam Transfer to Pahalgam (230 kms/8 hrs).O/n at hotel in Pahalgam.

Day-4 Pahalgam Enjoy the local sightseeing at Baisaran or walk around the riverside (OPTIONAL: Enjoy Betaab Valley (7 km), Aru (10 km)- Guests have to take local vehicles to access these valleys) . O/n at hotel in Pahalgam.

Day-5 Pahalgam- Srinagar Transfer to Srinagar (95 kms/4 hrs). Enroute visit Awantipura ruins, apple orchards. In Srinagar, Visit Mughal Gardens & Chashme Shahi. Evening enjoy Shikara ride on dal lake (1 Hr). O/n at Srinagar Houseboat.

Day-6 Gulmarg Full Day Excursion Transfer to Gulmarg (50 km/2 Hrs). Day free to take a leisurely outer circle walk around Asia's highest golf course, children park, fishing pond, Maharani temple etc. You can take the famous Gondola Ride , Asia's highest and longest cable car. Its a two-stage ropeway. (The first stage transfers from Gulmarg to Kongdoori Station. The second stage takes skiers to Affarwat). Return to Srinagar. O/n at hotel in Srinagar.

Day-7 Sonmarg Full Day Excursion Transfer to Sonamarg (85 km/ 3 Hrs). Enjoy stunning snow peak views around the area. U may also visit Thajwas Glacier (access through horses). Return to Srinagar. O/n at hotel.

Day-8 Departure Depart for the onward journey.

Day-1 Arrive at Srinagar Arrival at Srinagar. Check-in at Houseboat. Visit Mughal Gardens (Chesmashahi, Nishat and Shalimar). Enjoy the Shikara ride (1 hr) on Dal Lake in the evening. O/n at houseboat in Srinagar.

Day-2 Srinagar -Pahalgam Today, transfer to Pahalgam (95 kms/4 hrs). Enroute visit Awantipura ruins, apple orchards. Enjoy the local sightseeing at Baisaran or walk around the riverside. O/n at hotel in Pahalgam.
